A pedestrian was struck and killed on Route 3 in Crofton Friday morning, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Officials responded to the intersection of Crawford and Cronson Boulevards just after 4 a.m. Friday. The pedestrian, identified as an adult male in his 20s, died on the scene. The driver, a 48-year-old male driver and the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for minor injuries.
The accident closed northbound Crain Highway at Crawford Road. All lanes reopened at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday.
