Maryland veterans have a new place to go for health care.
An outpatient clinic opened Monday in Fort Meade that is designed to provide primary care to veterans who live in Howard and Anne Arundel counties.
The clinic expects to serve about 80,000 patients between the two counties. Doctors at the clinic will also focus on audiology, optometry and women's health.
The state-of-the-art facility has 21 rooms and cost about $4.6 million to put together.
