New, state-of-the-art facility to serve thousands of veterans in Anne Arunde, Howard counties

New VA Outpatient Clinic opening

FORT MEADE - A new Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic is opening up today in Fort Meade that will serve the 80,000 veterans living in Anne Arundel and Howard counties.

According to the Maryland VA, the new facility includes 21 exam rooms, an audiology booth, waiting areas and state-of-the-art medical technology.  Services offered at the clinic include general outpatient care, preventive health and education services and medical screenings.

Sen. Barbara Mikulski, along with Senator Ben Cardin, will be attending the ribbon ceremony this morning, according to Mikulski's office.
