Maryland Live! Casino plays an integral part in developing classes, providing instructors and collaborating on several projects in association with Anne Arundel community college. One particular area of focus has revolved around the college's hotel culinary arts and tourism institute. Students reap the benefits of the partnership through real word practices to allow them to learn the fundamentals.
A recent initiative was the implementation of a dealer school, which offered a free, 12-week dealer training course to individuals interested in pursuing a career in the gaming industry.
More than 500 students graduated from the course and are now employed as full-time table games dealers at Maryland Live! Casino.
