A 32-year-old man was found floating in a pond in Gambrills Friday night.
An Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman said Jeremy Jerome Spriggs of Chesapeake Beach was found around 6:30 in a pond behind Grotto Pizza in the 2400 block of Brandermill Boulevard.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said it's unclear why Spriggs was in the pond, but it appears he entered under his won power.
Police are investigating.
