Graul's Market in Annapolis reopened after gas leak

An Annapolis grocery store closed Monday after construction workers hit a nearby gas leak.

Shoppers at Graul’s Market on Taylor Avenue were immediately evacuated after crews hit a one-and-a-half inch natural gas line, starting the leak.

BGE turned off the gas main and customers were allowed to return to the store four hours after the evacuation.

The store is expected to open at the normal time Tuesday .
