Friends of deployed serviceman seek help finding his missing dog

We've seen the reunion of a dog greeting a returning soldier back from deployment.
But a Maryland serviceman may not get that experience because is dog Zara is missing.
The worrying has gone on for a week and two days and the search has been relentless, but time is running out before Zara's owner comes home.
Danny Ostiguy lives across from the Crownsville field where Zara, a 4-year-old German Shepherd, was last seen playing with her sitter who was visiting with the dog from South Carolina.
Friends of the dog and her owner say a game of catch sent Zara over a field and she never returned. That was July 28.
Zara's owner, Jon Walker, is a helicopter pilot in Afghanistan and is expected to return home soon after a year deployment overseas.
Walker lives in Kent Island and Zara's sitter has had the dog for the length of his deployment. Walker knows the dog is missing. Friends say it is out of character for Zara to run away.
Anyone who has information on Zara's whereabouts is asked to call Sarah at 410-215-1809 or Heather at 443-600-8312.
