As Annapolis is decked out in all it's holiday glory. Santa takes one last break on his boat before his push to Christmas. The town is beaming with excitement as our capital city gears up for midnight madness.

A tradition for more than 20 years many shops stay open until midnight in Annapolis. Special sales, music, and joy fill the air along with free parking are all good reasons to come downtown to shop.

Keith Jones is the new owner of one of Annapolis' most popular eateries, Chick and Ruth's. As stockings are hung with care, Jones is looking forward to his first-midnight madness downtown.

"I am really excited about this, I've heard a lot about this for the last couple months," said Jones.

Jones isn't the only one celebrating his first-midnight madness. Our four-legged friend Winslow is all excited for his debut allnighter, his companion, Paige Ritter, has been to midnight madness before.

"They always have desserts out at the stores, and they have wine out and it's so much fun. They have live music and its a blast," said Ritter.

If Winslow ends up burning out too quickly and can't make it all the way until midnight.... not to worry, he has two more chances on the 14th and the 21st.
