A pedestrian has died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning in Anne Arundel County.
It happened at 5:45 a.m. on Crain Highway in Crofton.
The southbound lanes of Crain Highway are closed near Evergreen Road as the police department investigates.
Drivers will need to use Interstate 97 as an alternate route.
The pedestrian has not yet been identified.
It's unclear at this time whether the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
