ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Anne Arundel County tourism officials are announcing a new partnership to attract visitors and businesses to Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.
The Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Conference and Visitors Bureau hosted a reception on Tuesday in Annapolis.
The bureau is giving the economic development organizations for the county and the city of Annapolis, the right to use the "Find It Here" slogan to promote economic development, as the bureau uses it to promote tourism.
The event included elected officials and business partners from throughout the county and local city businesses showcasing products.
“I love tourism, it's what makes Annapolis function," said Linda Mann, who owns Shades of the Bay on Main Street in Annapolis.
Mann’s business and others get plenty of help from the city.
“They really are concerned about the business's and they want us to succeed,” Mann said. “The amount of money that tourist bring in for taxes and revenues is what keeps the city functioning.”
