Members of the Anne Arundel County SWAT team stopped by Camp Sunrise to give campers an inside look at their jobs Monday.
Campers rotated between activities and got to learn about the aviation equipment and swat trucks. The SWAT team also put on a K-9 demonstration and an obstacle course.
“It was really cool and I like that I know that they are able to protect us because it’s nice to have someone to protect you," said camper Liesl Boysworth.
Camp sunrise is a free week long camp for children who have or have had cancer.
The event was a part of Camp Sunrise Undercover 2017.
