Annapolis - Social media is the place you go to share your opinions. That's fine, unless you're tweeting for your boss. That's a lesson an employee of the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office learned today.
Using the department's official twitter account, the part-time contractual worker accidentally tweeted a link to his personal Facebook account. The link, which the Eye on Annapolis website, pointed out to ABC2, takes you to a page for a Facebook group called "American White HIstory Group".
The Sheriff's Office says the tweet was inappropriate and they do not condone the views of the posting. Deputy Sheriff Harry Neisser says, "Measures have been taken to ensure that this type of incident will not occur in the future."
