Annapolis to fight grime

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - You could be seeing a cleaner Annapolis soon.

Mayor Josh Cohen announced a plan Tuesday to focus on cleaning up the city's waterways and streets. He said more resources will be devoted on making the city look clean

Also, the city will be using a "gum-buster."

"We as a city government need to do our part to make sure the city facilities are in top-notch condition," Cohen said. "Just a little thing like gum, can add up thousands of pieces of gum over our sidewalks. It's not acceptable."

Boats will also patrol around the city dock and pick up debris.
