ANNAPOLIS, Md. - An Annapolis Police officer was sent to University of Maryland Shock Trauma after a crash Saturday night.
Cpl. Amy Miguez tells ABC 2 the officer was parked in downtown Annapolis when a truck hit a wall, and then struck the officer’s vehicle.
Cpl. Miguez says speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, and the door of the officer’s vehicle had to be cut out to get the officer out safely.
The officer was released from the hospital on Sunday.
