An Annapolis man is getting ready to embark on the journey of a lifetime.
He's combining his love of baseball and bicycling to help people just like him.
Jacob Landis became deaf at the age of 10. He had cochlear implant surgery at Hopkins, and since then, he's had no problem hearing.
Now... He wants to give others that same gift.
Landis will bike all over country to raise money for people who can't afford the implant surgery. During his 10,000 plus mile trip, he will visit 30 Major League Baseball parks.
Landis leaves from Annapolis today. His first stop is Nationals Stadium in D.C.
He will visit Camden Yards -- home to his favorite baseball team-- on Saturday.
