A home is a “total loss” after a two-alarm fire in the Oyster Harbor Community of Annapolis overnight.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department said crews arrived after 1:30 a.m. Monday to the home already fully-engulfed in flames.
The homes on both sides of the original house were also on fire "due to the excessive heat and flames," according to a release.

A total of 91 firefighters from the Anne Arundel, Annapolis and Naval Academy Fire Departments assisted in fighting the fire.
The department confirmed that the occupants of the home were able to get out safely before firefighters arrived and there were no injuries. The home is a “total loss” and the Red Cross has been called to assist the two adults who have been displaced.
Because there were no hydrants around, tankers and several fire boats were brought in to fight the fire.
