The body is identified at Wesley Jacob, 35.  Friends of his family say he was out walking Brutus, a 7-year-old pit bull, at Patapsco Valley State Park in Brookly Park when something happened.  Natural Resources Police there's no foul play, but they say Jacob was face down in about two feet of water near a seven-foot drop off.

"Wes brought the dog out here and let it play in the water." said Darryl Marsh, a family friend.

NRP says the body was found around 11 Wednesday morning, but the dog was spotted wandering in the area two hours before the discovery.  More than 24 hours later, his owners are still searching and fishermen are helping them avoid a second heartache.

"Hopefully we can find it, sooner than later," said Marsh.

If you see Brutus, Marsh asks that you call him:  443-977-9725.

An autopsy is being performed on Jacob's body.
