$1 million lottery ticket sold at High's store in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS - Someone in Maryland is $1 million richer…

The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency confirms that there was a $1 million second-tier winning ticket sold at the High's convenience store at 158 Old Mill Bottom Road in Annapolis.

The winning ticket matched all five white balls of the Mega Millions drawing, missing only the Mega Ball.

Around the country, there were 20 $1 million winners from Tuesday's drawing.

The winning numbers were 8, 14, 17, 20, 39 and the Mega Ball was 7.

So far this year, Maryland has seen 16 second-tier winners.

The two winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in California and Georgia .
