The Carolina Panthers beat the Washington Redskins, so Mitt Romney will win the election. That is, if history is any indication.
This is the remarkably accurate Redskins rule. If the Redskins win their last home game before the Presidential Election, then the incumbent party retains the White House.
If the Redskins lose, then the incumbent party is voted out. It has been correct 17 of 18 times. The only exception was 2004 when the redskins lost to the packers.
That meant John Kerry should have won the presidency but George Bush stayed in office for 4 more years.
