Maryland voters continue to set early voting record numbers.
This year's contested presidential race is bring people out. Early voter turnout over the last five days has surpassed the 2012 totals, the first election in which early voting was legal in Maryland.
With three days off early voting left, over 475,000 people have already cast ballots.
"I think everything is on the line this year the economy, I'm just really concerned about the future of our nation and the direction it's going," said voter Robin Howard.
Election board statistics report Democrats are holding a 3-to-1 margin over Republicans.
In 2012, the state record hit 430,000 early ballots, but early voting only spanned five days. This year, early voting is eight days, with 20 more polling places.
