Overnight sensation: 84-year-old grandma records first song

She's as old as Loretta Lynn and can sing like Patsy Cline. Not many 84 year olds can say they're an overnight sensation, but Kathy Crouse can check that off her bucket list as well.

Singing is Kathy's second love. She met her first when she was just 12 years old and they were married for 63 years. 

After her husband's death the former car hop and cook moved to Charlestown Retirement Community and kept to herself. Then with a little help from medical practice administrator Dean Crawford, former songwriter of the year, Kathy recorded her first song.

The song is about her life, the man she loved, the mentally ill she cared for, the children she raised and those she fostered.

Here's a lady that thought she was done, now she's taken a new stage in her life.
