Four polling precincts in Baltimore City will remain open until 9 p.m. Tuesday because of problems earlier in the day.
The precincts that will be open later are John Eager Howard Elementary School, Beth-Am Synagogue, Oliver Multi-purpose Center and Pimlico Elementary School.
The Maryland Board of Elections said no early voting results would be released until after all the polls close.

Bridgett Frey, a spokeswoman for Senate candidate Chris Van Hollen, applauded the decision to keep the polls open later.
Supporters of mayoral candidate Catherine Pugh and Senate candidate Donna Edwards were in Baltimore City Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon, asking a judge to keep the polls open past 8 p.m.

Prominent Baltimore attorney Billy Murphy, the attorney representing the family of Freddie Gray, is a supporter of Democratic mayoral candidate Catherine Pugh.
Murphy requested a hearing for injunctive action to keep polls open because of problems with some precincts Tuesday morning.

Meanwhile, a senior aid to Edwards' campaign said the candidate also went to court Tuesday because six precincts in West Baltimore opened anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour late.

The campaign wants the polls to stay open for that amount of time to compensate for the late start.
Campaign officials asked the city Board of Elections to keep the polls open later, but the board declined.
