Feasting on mom's crab cakes, spending the summer at Ocean City, chowing down on Berger cookies, it feels good to be back in Maryland!
Megan credits news-junkie parents for getting her into journalism. She graduated from Syracuse University with dual-degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. During her time there, she worked for a radio station and public access show. She also interned at ABC2 News during her junior year of college (a little foreshadowing, perhaps?)
Just a couple of months after graduation, she accepted a job at WKTV in Utica, N.Y. In her six years there, she learned many skills. She started as an overnight producer and ended her run as co-anchor of the weekday morning show.
Megan's excited to be working in her home state and reporting on the people and groups working to make a difference in our communities. She looks forward to getting reacquainted with the place she calls home and sharing your stories!
