Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a man robbed and shot shortly after arriving home from work Saturday.
Just before 3:30 a.m. officers responded to the 4000 block of Alberta Avenue for a reported robbery and shooting.
Police said when officers arrived to the scene they found a 38-year-old man suffering with a gunshot wound to his leg.
During the investigation, the victim told police that the two suspects demanded his wallet, cell phone before they shot him and fled the area.
Several officers were dispatched to search the area, but were unable to locate any suspects.
The victim was taken to University of Maryland of Shock Trauma for treatment.
