Last Update: 6/17/2009 12:53 pm

The Baltimore Ravens sold more than 60,000 tickets to the AC Milan vs Chelsea Football Club Soccer match that will be held at M&T Bank Stadium on July 24th.  The match in Baltimore is part of the World Football Challenge.

It's six city round robin tournament played in the United States this summer.  As the first soccer event to be hosted at M&T Bank Stadium, Ravens officials are excited about the strong fan interest.

"We could not be more pleased with the reaction our community has had to bringing an international soccer match to Baltimore," said Ravens vice president of ticket sales and operations, Baker Koppelman. "Reaching 60,000 tickets sold is a significant milestone, but we have more work to do. To reach a sellout would be a tremendous statement for Baltimore and put us in a strong position to host future high profile events."

The Ravens ultimate goal is to reach the sellout capacity of 70,000.
