If there are clear skies Monday night, you'll be able to witness a rare event.
Venus and Jupiter along with the moon will align. There will be no need for a telescope, since Venus and Jupiter are the brightest planets.
The moon will be a crescent, and the three of them will appear as a triangle, with Venus being at the bottom.
They have been fairly close together the past several days, but on Monday they will be their closest.
Look to the South-Southwest just after sunset to see it happen.
