Police Identify Victim in Deadly Hit-And-Run

Baltimore County Police have identified the victim of a deadly hit-and-run crash in Landsdown.

John Fetters, 68, of the 100-block of American Avenue, was walking along Hammonds Ferry Road and Elizabeth Avenue at around 10:30 Tuesday night when police say he fell into the roadway.

Fetters was then run over by someone driving a dark colored SUV who then left the scene without stopping.

Fetters was taken to Saint Agnes Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11 p.m.

Anyone who may have information about this crash is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.

Baltimore County Police are searching for the driver of an SUV that they say hit and killed a man on Hammond Ferry Road just before 11 Tuesday night.

Witnesses found a man's body in the road and saw an SUV driving away. This was in the southwest part of Baltimore County.

The man died at the scene.

Police continue to look for suspects.
