Planned Parenthood held a casting call for all African-American babies in Baltimore. It’s part of a commercial for the “Babies Born Healthy” program.
In Baltimore City, African-American infants have a nine times higher chance of dying in their first year than white infants. The commercial will focus on the importance of healthcare prior to conception.
Six to eight babies were selected but we won’t know until May which babies will appear in the commercial.
