Thousands of Maryland shoppers arrived early overnight and are planning to stay late for blockbuster bargains that are going on throughout the day on what's become known as "
Black Friday".

According to the National Retail Federation roughly 77 million Americans are expected to head to stores today often considered the start of the holiday shopping season.
A survey by the National Retail Federal also found that as many as 134 million people will shop today, Saturday or Sunday up from the 128 million people who planned to do so last year.
