Anne Arundel County, MD - Police say 42 year old Gary Ensor tried to steal four cars within about ten minutes.
Gary Ensor of Manchester Pennsylvania felt the need to drive his pickup, full of home debris onto the tracks just south of the BWI Thurgood Marshall Amtrak station.
'That's all I could do you don't often see people up on the train tracks he had to lose his mind that's all I could say.' A man who would only identify himself as Marty told ABC 2 news.
Witnesses say Ensor gunned his truck into a ditch and up on the tracks. He drove for several feet before a tire blew out which left him stranded on the tracks.
They say he got out and minutes later a train slammed into the truck.
With his truck smashed police say Ensor decided to try to steal a car.
‘They spoke to the victim a 32 year old female she heard a loud noise came out of her residence at that time she saw a male suspect inside of her vehicle.' Anne Arundel County Police Spokesman Justin Mulcahy says.
The loud noise by the way was the 5:20 train from the airport slamming into Ensor's truck.
His truck smashed and this woman screaming at him, Ensor ran into a trucking company.
Then things got bad.
'Still looking to gain access to a vehicle threatened an individual at a nearby business with a knife demanding car keys and that victim did not comply.' Mulcahy says.
Now things are worse.
Police say Ensor tried to steal yet another car and that victim also chased him away.
By now Anne Arundel County Police arrive they've got a smashed truck, a train full of people, three car theft attempts, a man threatened with a knife and a now shirtless suspect roaming the streets.
He was easy to spot and police picked him up on Dorsey road.
But the story doesn't end here.
'When they detained him a 61 year old male victim approached and the officers and said that he tried to car jack he and his wife.' Mulcahy
Gary Ensor of Manchester Pennsylvania or so his now smashed truck says is facing a host charges including several car theft charges, car jacking, using a weapon and carrying drug paraphernalia.
Luckily no one was injured in this spree.... except Ensor who has a lot of explaining to do.
