The Washington County liquor board has fined a Hagerstown nightclub $1,500 for a male dance revue that allegedly violated state restrictions on naughty behavior.
The (Hagerstown) Herald-Mail reported Wednesday that the board decided to fine the operators of Hager Hall rather than revoke or suspend the club's liquor license.
Inspectors testified at a hearing last week that performers at the April 25 show mingled with the all-female audience and invited one woman on stage for a simulated sex act in violation of state law.
The club's general manager testified that the dancers had been told to avoid such behavior but didn't heed the warning.
