MD Woman Sentenced For Prostituting Teen Relative

Last Update: 6/23 5:37 pm

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Westminster woman who befriended a distant relative and sold her into prostitution in Maryland and Virginia has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Forty-year-old Deborah Frock was sentenced Tuesday for sex trafficking of a minor. She pleaded guilty earlier this year to meeting the 17-year-old girl and giving her marijuana and crack cocaine.

Prosecutors say she posted photos of her distant relative online with notes saying she was available.

In 2006, Frock set the girl up on dates with men who gave drugs or cash to have sex with the girl. One of the men was a truck driver who drove the girl from Maryland to Massachusetts and back.

Two men paid for pornographic photo shoots with the girl at a Maryland hotel and a Purcellville, Va. home.
