Lightning Blamed for West Baltimore Church Fire

Lightning is to blame for a two-alarm fire that damaged the Bethel AME Church.

The fire started just after eleven last night, right as those storms rolled through the area. It damaged the steeple and bell tower. No one was hurt in the fire.

A weekend service will be held at the Inner Harbor's Pier Six Pavilion until the steeple and bell tower are secured.
