Hundreds of students got their running shoes out to make a positive impact in their school.

The kids are from Saint John The Evangelist in Hydes, Baltimore County. They ran laps around the parking lot in their favorite Ravens uniform to raise money for new computers and materials in the classroom.

The goal was to raise $20,000. The kids well exceeded that goal by more than $5,000. Principal Jean Delcher says, "We have a great group of parents who organized the whole thing. All the students were asked to get as many sponsors as they could. Their goal was to get 15 sponsors per child and most of them made that."

The school has the race every two years. The last time they had it, they raise $40,000.
