Items Stolen From Cars In New Windsor

Last Update: 6/15 5:47 pm
Carroll County Sheriff's Deputies are trying to figure out who's stealing from cars in New Windsor.

The string of thefts started on June 5th when someone stole jewelry and change from 2 cars on Kelsey Court.

The stealing continued on Thursday.  A radar detector, GPS unit and an iPod nano disappeared from 4 cars parked on Church Street.

A preliminary estimate of stolen property is over $700 with an additional $500 in car damages.

While the investigation continues, people are reminded to roll-up their cars' windows, lock their cars' doors and remove any valuables from plain sight.
