Annapolis City Police are investigating the origin of a call they received Monday evening claiming a woman just killed three children.
The call came in to police at around 8:30 p.m. The caller claimed a woman in the 400-block of Captain's Circle had just killed three children in an area residence.
Officers went to the neighborhood to investigate. A house to house search was conducted and the neighborhood was locked down. Air support flew over several times and K-9 units were sent out.
Police found nothing.
An investigation into the source of the call is ongoing.
