Bad News for MD's Slots Bids

So, after ignoring the spurious bid by the Marylnad Jockey Association, bids were received for only 3550 slots instead of 15000. In an attempt to sell the state to the highest bidder, we have discovered that we don't really count for much and that the people were hoodwinked by a bunch le legislators who were too dumb actually serve the good of the people. Of interest is the excuse that the economy is bad - in hard times, it has always been the case that escapist pursuits, such as gambling, movies, and other entertainment venues have always risen.
