Anne Arundel Co. Two-Alarm Fire

(Lothian, MD.) A two-alarm fire caused about $300 thousand worth of damage to a home in Lothian, MD. this afternoon.

According to Anne Arundel County fire officials the blaze broke out about 5:18 p.m. at a large, two-story home in the 630 block of Rosewood Court. There were four adults at the home when the fire started and they all escaped without injury.

It took 66 firefighters from Anne Arundel County, Calvert County and Prince George's County to contain the blaze that was about 70 percent involved when firefighters arrived.

The fire caused about $200 thousand of structural damage to the home and about $100 thousand of damage to the home's contents. What sparked the blaze is still under investigation.
