An Abingdon teen was seriously injured after being stabbed in the torso during a fight over a car.
Harford County Sheriff's Deputies were called to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air for a patient who was being treated for a stab wound Friday night.
Police believe the 19-year-old victim was stabbed at around 10 p.m. in the 3400-block of Clairborne Way in Abingdon. The victim was arguing with two known suspects over the use of his 1994 Chevrolet Malibu. A friend then took the victim to the hospital.
The victim was later transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. He is expected to survive his injuries.
