A 'Visionary' Art Exhibit

Last Update: 11/07 10:18 am

A unique exhibition was on display Friday night at the American Visionary Art Museum.

Seventy-five pieces of art - all created by developmentally disabled adults.

The event was part of a year long celebration for the ARC of Baltimore's 60th anniversary and included a silent auction benefitting the organization.

This year's Art in the Round - also features a photography exhibit of Arc supported people and families by noted local photographer Howard Korn.

Proceeds from Art in the Round help to fund future art programs, workshops, and training programs for people with developmental disabilities.

Featured artists will receive 60 percent of the winning bid for each piece of art sold. In addition, The Arc of Baltimore will give a financial award to the artist whose work is chosen to be used for next year's Art in the Round promotional poster.
