3 Year Old Drowns in Pool

CAPE ST. CLAIRE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police say a 3-year-old girl has drowned in a pool at a home near Annapolis.

Police say the girl fell in a pool and her family was caring for her when police and paramedics were called to the home in the 1500 block of Stacey Lane south of Cape St. Claire around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

The girl was taken to Anne Arundel County Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
