Last Update: 6/25 8:08 am
HANOVER, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County police say three girls have been charged with attacking a woman as she left Arundel Mills mall.

The 24-year-old woman told police she was walking from the mall around 6 p.m. Tuesday when three girls and boy surrounded her.

Police say the boy punched her and tried to take her purse and when the woman resisted, they tackled her and hit her with a board.

Her attackers fled when someone driving by yelled. Police arrested four suspects and the woman identified three female suspects, a 16-year-old from Severn, a 15-year-old from Odenton and a 15-year-old from Haymarket, Va. They are charged with attempted robbery and second-degree assault.

Police have identified a possible male suspect, but the 17-year-old had not been charged.

These thugs cannot walk the streets again. Give them all life in the big house. That's where they belong - in a cage. Take their fresh air away and let them rot. The parents will now say "my child would never..." or "she was abused as a child". Give me a break. You created the monster. Now deal with it!

the only way this trend of juvenile disorder is going to stop is to make some examples of these animals.....20 years of hard labor and no parole. Also make the parents serve time for not teaching them right from wrong.
