Baltimore Police are investigating two shooting incidents Sunday that left two men seriously injured.
The first shooting happened at around 3 p.m. in the 3000-block of Towanda Avenue in Northwest Baltimore.
Police say the victim was gathered with a group of friends when they were approached from behind by a burgundy-colored van. One of the victim's friends went to the driver's side of the vehicle while the victim went inside. Several shots were fired before the van fled the scene. The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The second shooting happened at around 11 p.m. in West Baltimore.
The victim told police he was walking in the 900-block of Monroe Street when a man dressed in all black clothes and a black mask covering his face came out of the alley and began shooting. Police believe the gunman was targeting a Cadillac parked in the gas station across the street.
The victim was shot one in the right forearm. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
No arrests have been made in either shooting. Both incidents remain under investigation.
