Baltimore City Police have arrested two men in connection with two separate rape incidents in June.
The first suspect is 19-year-old Alex Holden. He was arrested Wednesday for the June 18 rape of a woman in the 2800 block of Violet Avenue.
Police say the victim was walking to her grandmother's house when she passed Holden sitting on his front porch. The victim had a previous relationship with the suspect. Holden and the victim began talking and after a while police say Holden pulled her into the house, forced her onto the floor, and raped her. The victim got away and immediately reported the rape.
The second suspect was also arrested Wednesday. Eugene Lee, 54, was charged with raping a 34-year-old woman who suffers from mild mental retardation and schizophrenia.
Police say the victim came to Lee's house in the 2600-block of Greenmount Avenue to watch television with him. The two were sitting on the sofa when Lee allegedly took off all of his clothes and then ordered her to do the same. The victim refused. That's when police say Lee pinned the woman down, undressed her, and raped her.
The victim did not tell her family about the incident but went to the hospital a few days later to report the rape. Lee was arrested the following day.
Police say both incidents remain under investigation.
