I didn't know either of the victims but I do know Mary's sister and step-brother. My heart goes out to them and their family. It is a true shame that two wonderful people died so early in their lives. They will be missed.

This story is so twisted on every news station its unbelievable.. The whole entire story is BS. I was at the scene. and it was one mans fault no one elses.. a Drunk Driver. nothing to do with street racing.

I hope the guy who killed Jon and Mary gets what he deserves. My son is and always will be Jon and Mary's best friend. Jon and Mary were so kind they would never hurt anyone. They were wonderful people , their live ended so early in life, they had so much to look forward too. My name is Al Reed Sr. and they were at my house with their friend's all off the time and i will love them and miss them forever .And they were not racing just watching.RIP JON AND MARY , WITH ALL OF OUR LOVE. ALLAN SR,ALLAN JR., AND KEVIN REED , CHRIS FRENCH , ANDREW, BRANDON.

I was there minutes after the crash. Racing wasnt the reason two of my friends are dead tonight. There was a drunk driver and he lost control of his car. And contrary to the story Mary was not killed by the initial impact. She had a pulse up to over an hour after the accident. Although I do believe that street racing is dangerous and can be recklous, it is simply unfair to state that because that area is known for street racing and people were gathered, that means that they had to be killed because of it. I just want them to get the story straight instead of basically lying about the circumstances around the deaths of two smart, fun and lovely young people.

It was not the cause. I was there after it had happened. The man driving the Impala/Mailbu was comeing from a "bike party" We spoke to his friends on the side of the road. We informed the state trooper of this. Mary and John were my friends, and to see the story get twisted like that is sickening.

I was at the scene of tbis accident and I would have to say this story is completely false. There was no cars set for any sort of race when i was passing through and I stopped to help. a Drunk driver and street racing have nothing to do with each other. Although you say that street racing is known in this area it is not to say this was the cause.
