1 Killed, 1 Hurt in Catonsville Shooting

Baltimore County Police have identified the man killed in a shooting at a Catonsville convenience store Tuesday evening.

Police say 52-year-old Brian Michael Meise of the 100-block of Ingleside Avenue was a customer in the store when the shooting happened.

Officers were called to the Yours Convenience Store in the 700-block of Frederick Road shortly before 7 p.m. The owner of the store, 55-year-old Sudhir Shah, called police after a masked man robbed the store and then shot the only two people inside, including Shah.

Police found Shah in the front of the store. He was only able to give them a limited description of what happened. When police realized he had been shot they took him to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. He is expected to survive.

Police found Meise and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate a suspect.

Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting at a Catonsville convenience store that has left one person dead.

Police responded to the Your's Convenience Store in the 700 block of Frederick Rd. in Catonsville at around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

They arrived to find two people shot inside.  One of the victims was found dead on the scene and the other, the owner of the store, has been taken to the hospital.  There is no word on his condition.

Police are searching the area and are working to determine what led to the shooting.  They do not believe the person killed was involved in the shooting.
