Eighth graders from Philadelphia's Charles W. Henry School were heading to Washington, D.C. for a field trip, but they never made it. The bus they were traveling on flipped over on I-95 Monday morning.
Around 9:30 a.m. a Honda tried to pass the bus. The driver clipped the bus, causing it to overturn with 26 students and four adults on board.

One adult and one child were flown by Maryland State Police and Delaware State Police for treatment. The adult patient was taken to Shock Trauma. The child was transported to Nemours dePont Hospital in Delaware.
Twenty-five kids and three adults were taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Harford Memorial and Christiana Care in Delaware for treatment.

Several patients were released Monday with minor injuries. Parents had to travel from Philadelphia to pick up their kids from Maryland hospitals.
"She thought she was dreaming because prior to that she was napping," said parent John Clark. "So I guess when the bus began to flip, she heard some screaming, but she thought it was all a dream."
According to a University of Maryland Medical System official, Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace treated 17 patients and Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air treated nine patients, all of whom were discharged Tuesday morning.
Officials with the School District of Philadelphia said 21 students, one teacher, one parent chaperone and the bus driver were released from the hospital Monday night.
