Troopers say a man died after driving under a Semi truck on I-495 early Thursday morning.
Investigations show that Reza Zati was driving a Honda Civic behind Syed Raza, who was driving a Semi truck tractor that was pulling a Great Dane trailer. While they were both driving down I-495 at Seminary Road, Zati hit the rear of Raza's truck and continued to drive under the trailer.
After feeling something hit him, Raza pulled to the right shoulder of the highway and saw that the Honda Civic was lodged under his trailer.
Zati was declared dead at the scene around 12:10 a.m.
Investigators say Zati was driving fast when he crashed into the trailer, and they are unsure if alcohol or drugs were involved.
