ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Annapolis man accused in a multi-state, multi-county paving scheme has been returned to Maryland. The Anne Arundel County State's Attorneys Office says Tommy Clack was extradited back from Florida, where he was arrested on several charges, including outstanding out of state warrants from Maryland.
Since Clack's return, prosecutors say he was served with four outstanding warrants from Anne Arundel, Queen Anne's and Prince George's counties. According to the Queen Anne's County Office of the Sheriff, Clack posted $300,000 in bail for all the cases.
Clack is due in court for an Administrative Hearing in Hunt Valley tomorrow to respond to a Statement of Charges brought by the Maryland Attorney General's Consumer Protection Office. That office hit Clack with a cease and desist order back in November, ordering him to stop paving driveways until he obtained a license. The order also demanded Clack repay customers who paid Clack for service while he was unlicensed.
Tommy Clack is also set to face criminal charges in Anne Arundel County on Thursday. He is due in Glen Burnie District Court to face charges of acting as a contractor without a license.
