The Survivor Strong 5K is happening Saturday in Columbia. The event raises money for domestic terrorism awareness.

One of this year's speakers is Erick Brannock. She survived the Boston Marathon Bombing in 2013. Now Brannock is working to spread awareness and advocate for other survivors.

She and Lois Blevins, the president and founder of the National Center for Citizen Safety joined ABC2's In Focus to talk about the Survivor Strong 5K and domestic terrorism awareness.

This year, the group will also be donating money to the Ellicott City partnership to have people impacted by last month's flooding.
